NIGHTCLUB is back for the 3rd installment of the summer series.
This month “CHICAGO”. We explore music from the city that gave us some of the most prominent producers and DJs of early house music.
Back in the 1980’s Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Jesse Saunders, Farley "Jackmaster" Funk, Marshall Jefferson, and Larry Heard (aka Mr. Fingers) were the original House music pioneers giving us soulful 4 to the floor music.
Chi town was home to legendary clubs like the Music Box and the famed Warehouse (The place where House was born).
The Chicago sound has been so influential that you can hear it in most house music today.
